Today we are talking about morning habits that everyone should incorporate into their daily routine to see some awesome life changes.
The morning. Also known as the Mourning. Or the Moaning can be a very chaotic time of the day.
But it doesn’t have to be.
Putting together some nice habits can really help get your mind, body and soul as ready as possible to tackle your day.
Hopefully, you will come away with a thing or two from this list that will help make your morning a bit more pleasurable.

01. Warm Glass of Lemon Water
The first thing I like to do in the morning is to pour myself a nice glass of hot lemon water.
As the years have passed, my gut has taken a beating from all the junk I have thrown into it.
Having a warm glass of lemon water in the morning (on an empty stomach) helps restore that gut back to its glory days.
No time or Lemons?
A glass of water alone will do just fine.
02. Get a Good little Stretch in There
There was a time in life where I didn’t have to pay attention to my joints or muscles.
Once I hit my 30s this was no longer the case, they ache after a night’s sleep.
No time for a long stretch session?
Just do a quick stretch touching on important areas.
Legs, Back, Arms and Neck/Shoulder area.
Stretching before bed also can replace a morning stretch if there is simply no time.
03. Get That Worm
Waking up early will help alleviate the stress of the morning chaos.
You will have plenty of time to prep your mind and body for that long work or off day.
Getting up early begins with getting down at a decent time.
Make sure and get a good night sleep to help your rise be as pleasant as possible.
I love having a great alarm clock (other than my phone) to wake up to.
Try something like this one.
It’s supposed to simulate rising with the sun.
Which can affect your hormones and the mood you wake up in.
Keep in mind that (waking early) can mean lots of different times for different lifestyles.
So just make sure and give yourself time before your day starts to get yourself together whether you work days, nights or afternoons.
Life is hard, Luckily so are you!
We all have our days where we wake up just not really feeling it.
Long work weeks, heavy house work, demanding family.
Eventually we are going to wear down a bit, and that is okay, just another things humans face.
Take the occasional morning and focus on refueling.
Do something for you, take time to meditate, or listen to some podcasts or inspiring videos.
This will help get your mind and soul in the right place.
05. Get Some Exercise
For some, I know this is just absurd and out of the question.
“Ain’t nobody got time ain’t nobody got time ain’t nobody got time for that.”
For others (myself included) a small morning workout gets all the right energies flowing.
This doesn’t have to be anything major either.
Some quick dumbbells, push ups or jumping jacks will do the trick.
Getting your blood flowing in the right direction will help get you feeling good about yourself and your day.
06. Take a Deep Breath or Two
People swear by this and I do too.
Something about providing oxygen to your mind, body and soul that just feels right.
Taking a few minutes to just take some deep breaths will get your mind and soul to the next level.
This can be done anywhere, I like to do it on the toilet where I am dropping all of my evils from the previous day.
07. Eat Some Breakfast
Personally, I like to keep this light.
A nice bowl of oatmeal, smoothie or a fresh squeezed juice will put the FAST in breakfast which is what I like to aim for in the morning.
Eating/Drinking a light healthy breakfast will give your mind and body the energy it needs to perform at an optimal level.
Others like to aim for a heavier breakfast like Bacon and Eggs or Pancakes with coffee.
Listen to your body and choose what works best for you.
08. What You do it For
As you go through your difficult morning routine, try and keep it mind what you’re doing all that you do.
Nothing will motivate anything that you do like the things that you love most in life.
Family, friends and goals are huge motivators.
Keep them in mind as you focus on the day ahead.
Repeat in your mind how much you love and love will manifest and radiate from you.
Whatever you want to happen, is going to happen.
“I am going to be a good person today” and you will.
“I am going to be a bastard today” and you will.
Keep a strong goal in your mind on what you want to happen with yourself for the day and it will happen.
If you are focusing on being a kind person for the day, don’t beat yourself up when you have small incidents that arise with people focusing on being bastards for the day.
You are a great person, leave that in your noggin.
